Question regarding the construction of the blade in "B" division: directions read "...blade assembly must have a maximum diameter between 20cm and 24cm for division B." The word "maximum" is very perplexing when given a range. What is the smallest the blade assembly can be? What is the maximum? According to the diagrams on the National site, min. is 20cm and max. is 24cm. Is this correct?

Thank you.

The rules clarification website does a nice job answering your question: http://soinc.org/physics_lab_b

Review the sample blade assemblies. The functional blade ends must have a diameter between 20 and 24 cm. So the blades must be no less that 20 cm in diameter and no more than 24 cm in diameter.
